The 2020 Human Rights Arts & Film Festival

In 2020, the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival celebrates the theme of momentum.

Coronavirus is an unavoidable reality that we are currently navigating, but we have every intent to bring you the stories of humanity in 2020. Please be patient as we determine our best way forwards during this particularly unstable moment in time.

About HRAFF

The Human Rights Arts & Film Festival (HRAFF) is a not-for-profit arts organisation that explores diverse and inspiring human stories through the mediums of film, art, music and forums.

HRAFF inspires and engages audiences with social justice and human rights issues via an annual festival and year-round through our CineSeeds program, our online networks and partners.

HRAFF is an independent organisation which is not aligned or affiliated with any political party or religious group.

2020

It has been a challenging start to the year.

Despite challenges, we are committed to our cause.

In fact, it is in these hard times that the stories of humanity matter most.

The Human Rights Arts and Film Festival is currently exploring how we can deliver a festival experience in 2020.

Our theme for 2020 is "Momentum”, as we know that our ability to use storytelling both activates and builds on a groundswell of change in gender equality, climate action, indigenous voices, and the global movement of people.

Please bear with us, and if you can offer support in any way, please don't be shy.

Stay safe. The 2020 HRAFF team.

Who we are.

Supported by a team of volunteers, HRAFF has over a decade of experience in telling the stories of humanity that matter.
